Bass Scoops Radio

Bass Scoops Radio is my way of sharing my love for all things bass and electronica. In this world of streaming and “free music” I want to do my small bit for supporting and appreciating artists that create that magic we all enjoy whether it’s in our headphones or on a dance floor.

Though the genres included are far reaching I’m a big big fan of what cool people (sic) today call Bass music. So expect a lot of jungle, dub, hardcore and sounds termed “rave”. I love the roots of the scene and recognise the forefathers and foremothers of the scene. Alongside the “bass” genres I’ll be dropping acid house, balearic , techno, house and their evolutionary sounds into trip hop, dubstep, d&b, UK Garage and more.

A big part and a total privilege of Bass Scoops is being able to give air time to the artists through in-depth interviews and catching a few of their words and shout outs whilst out playing live. Alongside these interviews and selections I’ll be bringing in guest mixes from likeminded travellers to add to the radio vibe and celebrate the wonderful era of electronic music we are living through.
